On a failed roll, Thomas's unmodified 2D6 total determines the level of property damage; double one means total devastation.
Patrolling modern day New York City, Thomas (aka Quantum Phaze) is a weary, middle-aged Anglo-American quantum sentinel from another world. He doesn't want celebrity glory—he wants to handle street-level emergencies without any collateral damage, drink burnt diner coffee, and keep his therapist's out-of-hours billing to a minimum.
